Now it comes to explaining 1952, the Berlin Wall, the Cold War, the H Bomb, and many other activities. As
the face-off with the surviving Super Powers of WWII took place along the East and West Germany in
Europe the satellites were important from an Aerospace perspective at least, and submarine bases, etc., as Dr
Edward Teller father of the Atomic Bomb or H Bomb legend goes speculated submarines could carry a one
megaton device and the total power of these weapons already astronomical was expanding beyond what Earth
could survive.

After the failed Bay of Pigs invasion Holt worked for Meyer Lansky in California. Meyer took over
the Los Angeles Stamp and Stationary Company where Holt continued to produce illegal documents
and false police badges. He also worked closely with Phillip A. Twombly, a former Executive Vice
President of Coca Cola for their Caribbean operations. Twombly now owned a bank in Fullerton,
California, which was used to distribute CIA funds for covert operations.
Chauncey Holt was born in Kentucky on 23rd October, 1921. When he was 19 he joined the United
States Army Airforce (USAAF). The following year he was court-martialed and sent to the U.S.
penitentiary barracks at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, for attacking another soldier with a Springfield rifle.
Holt was released in June 1940 but deserted from the USAF after the attack on Pearl Harbor. He
eventually returned to duty but in 1942 he traveled in a car from Fort Knox to Louisville. He was
arrested and charged with taking the car without permission and was sentenced to 18 months in the
Industrial Reformatory at Chillicott, Ohio. On his release he found work with the Bethelem-Fairfield
Shipyard Company.
After the war Holt met Peter Licavoli, a leading figure in the Mafia in Detroit. Holt was sent to Florida
where he worked for Meyer Lansky as an accountant and pilot. This included several trips to Cuba
where Lansky had extensive business interests. Lansky also sent Holt to worked for the International
Rescue Committee (IRC). This was a Central Intelligence Agency controlled organization that had been
set up to distribute funds to organizations attempting to overthrow left-wing governments. During the
time Holt was also involved in producing forged documents for the CIA and the Mafia.
Holt also became involved in what later become known as Executive Action (a plan to remove
unfriendly foreign leaders from power). This including a coup d'état that overthrew the Guatemalan
government of Jacobo Arbenz in 1954 after he introduced land reforms and nationalized the United
Fruit Company. However, the main target of this operation was Fidel Castro who had established a
socialist government in Cuba.

Dulles Brothers VP Nixon Executive Action team were at the EARLIER (not Latin American) Soviet

Chauncey Marvin Holt he worked in Guatemala and other locations the CIA was operating in in the
1950's. Lee Harvey Oswald was part of that team and turned cover-story (Legend or created back-story
of the under cover operative) forged materials created by Chauncey Holt and produced by Los Angeles
Stationary and Stamp Co (LASSCO) that made him appear to be a Communist Sympathizer, infiltrating
Communist groups and also committing False Flags as a Communist Sympathizer.
After JFK was assassinated Holt requested differing duties; not wanting any assassinations inside the
USA again and he said the CIA agreed to that. My assertion is that this is when my father left the
Roman Catholic Church over Gladio the Unholy Alliance between the Mafia and the CIA, as these
groups killed "his friend from church (St. Aidans) and he realized it all politics, his faith broken.]

instructions from Phillip A. Twombly to provide false ID documents for Lee Harvey Oswald. These

Holt later claimed he was went to Dallas in November, 1963, with Charlie Nicoletti, James Canty and
Leo Moceri. In Dallas he passed on forged documents and guns (with silencers) to Charles Harrelson
and Charles Rogers (Richard Montoya). Holt was told that "an incident was going to be created which
could be laid at the door of pro-Castro Cubans. The word attempted assassination was never used. We
assumed that from all this light loaded ammunition that maybe somebody was going to try to take a
shot from somewhere, probably the Dal-Tex building, or one of the buildings around there. But at no
time was it ever intimidated to us that an assassination or attempted assassination on Kennedy."
When the Kennedy motorcade reached the Dealey Plaza Holt was in the parking lot behind the Grassy
Knoll. After the shooting took place Holt went to hide in a railroad car. He was joined by Charles
Harrelson and Charles Rogers. However, soon afterwards, Dallas police officers entered the railroad car
and arrested all three men. The three men along with Jim Brading were interviewed by Gordon
Shanklin of the FBI and then released.

The picture is in 1963 or so, possibly 1962, I fail to research as I type here extemporaneously, is a group of
PsyOps covert operators staging undercover Psychological Operations in view of the public.
The roles of the people are easy. Chauncey Marvin Holt (pilot to Meyers Lansky) is to the right, Lee Harvey
Oswald (pilot Civil Air Patrol is there) George Reynolds is there (CIA assassinations operative) and his
personal pilot and soldier of fortune is there with him Leroy Young. George Reynolds was the brother of Bob
Reynolds, head of JM WA VE CIA overthrow team in Miami Florida.
Frank Belcher is there. He is the Banker who works for Phillip Twombly (CIA) a person like Clay Shaw
who as a facet of doing business in the Caribbean (or Latin America) is privy to information about the foreign
government officials they meet and work with, the local groups of workers and politicians, sentiments of
foreign populations they encounter, business fronts that can be used to plant assets into foreign nations as
employees of the front corporations, etc.,
Twobly as a CIA asset will use his own front corporations (no indications Cocacola directly) in Fullerton
California and other locations to funnel funding to Murder Inc., and Casino and other mafia who can ALSO
fly cargo planes into civil wars in other nations to tilt the battle TOWARDS the USA England desired
outcomes.
Sometimes countries are destabilized perhaps by assassination leading to civil wars in a "strategy of tension"
eliminating peace activists and putting in warring factions from EITHER SIDE such that when the war does
break out the Western allegiance side will have overkill capabilities against Communist factions, that
provided secretly by pilots like Chauncey Holt into countries while discussed as non US CIA flights.
In 1951 the Casinos and Gambling operation of Meyers Lanksy on Grace Ranch Tuscon Arizona became a
CIA training and airplane modification facility funded through the CIA to Borb Reynolds then to George
Reynolds then to Twombly then the Frank Belcher and then to Meyers Lansky and Chauncey Holt, the
Lansky accountant (who kept all the records and are in the appendix of his book).
The USE of the money was this. The Fair Play For Cuba and Commie Party cards and fake badges and fake
documents for CIA operations where used by Chauncey Marvin Holt under supervision from William King
Harvey to create "Legends" (cover identities) the teams would operate under, such a team driving later from
Tuscon to the Trainyard.
Most likely this is or had intended to be something like Operation Northwood. A commie sympathizer
Oswlad "fires from the clock-tower" (book depository) towards JFK with a lousy rifle. He misses but Cuba is

blamed as threat to the USA. instead from the Train-yard someone DOES HIT JFK and Oswald is the patsy.
It is the Mob operating from the CIA PsyOps system under heavy control of General Edward Lansdale and
General CD Douglas, both of whom Col FLether Prouty hates and blames and cites as the assassins identified
in photos, Lansdale seen in the pictures the Hobos he does not name by name but as assassins, and CD
Jackson media friends, I think in one place he does mention CD JACkSON OSS CIA as part of the plan, in
other cases Prouty just mentions others in the press by name who are part of the cover-up and CIA friendly
propaganda.
One of the British interests in this was out of wedlock bastard Windsor children allowed them to study their
speech defect non-publicly and while doing so plant sleeper agents drawn from orphanages they were planted
in for use around the world with their hidden identities explained to them in surrogate parents.
Some of these were drawn from Glorian Donegan DNA since she was one of these "bastard children." The
trackablity of DNA now is a huge issue and cover-ups are being conducted of the why of the assasion of JFK
who was against this though his father was a part of this.
Some of the later discovered roles (HSCA testimony based on findings from investigator Penn Jones Jr. was
that Oswald was trying to buy cars very anonymously (at least one) by cash no names involved. ONe place he
visited the sales person seems to have been assassinated (Penn Jones finding.) Holt will say in his book the
Oldsmobile station wagon some of the CIA group traveld to the train yard to at Dealy Plaza was bought in a
way it was untraceable. Lee Bowers in the two story trainyard booth did see the cars but he was assassinated
as he talked to documentarian author producer Mark Lane, but records of Lee Bowers statements remain.
Lee Harvey Oswald tried to call North Carolian army intelligence and I think explain the Donegan and
Astugi piece of this but the phone call was blocked and he was assassinated before being transferred from
Earl Cabell's (Mayor of Dallas and brother of CHarles Cabell fired by JFK police jail into the County Jail.
Per Chauncey Holt they had a "clean" automobile that would not be traced back to them, an Oldsmobile
station wagon. IT seems as part of that team Oswald was trying to buy cars, cash, that would not be traced
back to him, he was trying not to use his name.

Q. Who was Frank Belcher, Sr.? A. Frank Belcher, Sr. was one of the most powerful lawyers in California.
He was, at one time, president of the California bar. He was related to J. A. Belcher, another of the CIA’s
properties. I have already alluded to his wife, Ruth, and his relationship to George Reynolds. More
importantly, he was the de facto partner of Joe Ball, another powerful lawyer. Belcher and Ball very often
represented co-defendants in trials.
Since they were not actually partners they were able to avoid charges of conflict of interest. Belcher and
Ball, along with John Wayne and Fred MacMurray owned a palatial house in Acapulco, which was used as a
safe house for contract agents, card carrying agents and organized crime figures, such as Stacher, Lansky,
Licavoli, Roselli, Giancana and others. Belcher was also a CIA asset. He and I maintained a joint back
account at the Bank of America which served as a conduit for funds from many sources, legal and illegal.
"In August of 1963, acting on instructions of George Reynolds, who operated the Atchafalaya Labor Camp
in Morgan City, Louisiana, Bud Belcher and I flew to New Orleans. Bud was the son of Frank Belcher, owner
of Belcher Aircraft, a CIA proprietary interest. Bud and I were to give Lee Harvey Oswald material to
distribute in his role with "Fair Play for Cuba." The pamphlets we printed at LASSCO were passed to Guy
Bannister, but there was a well- publicized arrest of Oswald at this time and, to the best of my knowledge, the
material was never distributed.
It was that secret airbase at Grace Ranch serviced by Ernie Dunlevie, Ray Rayn, and the Vegas Mob (sans
Bugsy Segal who Holt helped hit when Segal was caught skimming by an unnamed accountant) that Holt and
the CIA team worked out of with Robert Mahue and Howard Hughes building advanced aircraft to spec
inside WWII surplus planes to be piloted by CIA contractor and USAF Pilots hiding as Latin American air
force personnel. That according to C-Span book notes on Richard Bissle Jr. and Allen Dulles.
In the appendix of Chauncey Marvin Holt's book of his work as a Hobo and with the CIA overthrow team of
Guatamala in 1954 with Leroy Young, Jack Youngblood, and others Holt goes into meetings he had in Palm
Springs with Sam Gold (Giacanca) William King Harvey, and the Grace Ranch group running the secret CIA
airbase the squad of assassins drove the station wagon from to Dallas and William King Harvey doing much
of the organizing.
In 1975 the CIA began to purge rogue contract agents, aka “cowboys” from its employ. Some were
forced into retirement, while others like Chauncey Holt ended up in prison. On January 2, 1976, Holt
had written a letter to his old CIA ally William King Harvey apprising him of his recent indictment by a
federal grand jury. Harvey responded by saying he could only offer “token assistance.” Harvey did offer
to send Chauncey some CIA documents that were about to be declassified. These records proved that
Holt worked for the Clandestine Operations of the Central Intelligence Agency.

money to live on. So why not ask for the Cowbows of the CIA to get some retirement pay out of some oil or
Nixon campaign fund? For Nixon Bush Rockefeller and others the matter was more dangerous. Indonesia,
Guatemala, the press and Congress and formal investigations into the MK-Ulra program depended on more

than voluntary silence and payoffs. Risks like Dorothy needed to be eliminated completely lest they be
subpoenaed, change their minds, etc,.
Chauncey Marvin Holt and others were the "Cowboys" of Grace Ranch in Tuscon, Arizona? Yes. In 1951
the gambling operation sold off the race horses used in Las Vegas and moved in the bone-yard surplus WW 2
planes the Pentagon was making available to them to use as post-war military surplus.
Holt and others will show up in ranch hand clothes but in fact Holt was a Hobo and circus performer as a
child later earned a degree in art from a religious based university admission. Upon being discharged from
Army Air Force training in WW 2 he after WW 2 was used by the CIA as a Pilot Engineer. As an engineer he
worked with weapons and aircraft designers to refit the planes and test and paint them for use in Guatemala
and elsewhere and flew them as well. Not horses but planes instead but the overalls may look just they same
even when he posed as a Hobo driving from Grace Ranch to Dealey Plaza Texasa to be part of the JF
assassination planned by William King Harvey, Sam Giancana, and others.
You can't find away to a avoid the troubling matter of Lee Bowers Jr. He was in what amounts to the Air
Traffic Control Tower of an airport, but here for controlling ground traffic in a two story 4 window all
structure who observed the Oldsmobile Station wagon the Holt say they (the assassins) bought and drove
from the CIA weapons center at Grace Ranch (were silencers were built, custom jobs from a firearms
company in Goleta California did work for them, they were machinists at Grace Ranch Tuscon Arizona too
working to modify salvage bomber, fights, and light personal planes.

Red Devil in Cold War Japan
The 40th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron "Red Devils"
The U.S. military maintained a significant presence in Japan throughout the Cold War, and one of its
units was known as the "Red Devils".
Stationed at Yokota Air Base: The 40th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron, which used the
nickname, was stationed at Yokota Air Base near Tokyo until 1965.
Air defense role: The squadron played a direct role in Japan's air defense against potential Soviet
and Chinese aerial threats.
F-102 Delta Daggers: In the early 1960s, the "Red Devils" upgraded to F-102 Delta Daggers and
were even featured in the 1961 monster movie Mothra, which filmed at Yokota Air Base.
Handover of duties: The unit's air defense mission was ultimately transferred to the Japan Air
Self-Defense Force (JASDF).

It seems odd that both the race horses and pursuit planes (Pursuit P-40, P-51 etc.,) and later designated
Fighers F-86 both of which my father flew were the Red Devils and race horses. In one case even a pickup
truck.

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- The Cold War is an amorphous event that historians date variously as
having started at the end of WWII, from the president's [President Truman's] articulation of the policy
of "containment" in 1947, during the Berlin Airlift in 1948-49, or myriad other turning points in that
epic struggle between the United States and the Soviet Union.
The Korean War should probably be lumped into the Cold War as well, though when examining
Yokota's history it is worth analyzing Korea as a distinct event. At the other end of the spectrum the
Cold War concluded in 1991 with the opening of the Berlin Wall, but at Yokota the Vietnam War was
so dominant that it marked an end, or at least a pause in typical Cold War activities.
Therefore, this article shall periodize Yokota's Cold War era as the thirteen years between 1952 (about
half-way through the Korean War) through 1964 when the Vietnam War was ramping up.
The variety of missions and aircraft that called the base home during this timeframe is almost
overwhelming, and for those stationed at Yokota during the 1950s and into the mid-1960s the ever-
looming threat of a conventional or nuclear attack was very real.
After all, Russia -- at that time the Soviet Union -- is Japan's closest neighbor, and combined with the
establishment of communist China in 1949 and the aggression of North Korean toward South Korea in
1950 showed that Japan was surrounded by hostile states.
As a result during the 1950s and into the early 1960s, before the Japan Air Self Defense Force
(JASDF) was fully operational, the US Air Force provided for Japan's air defense with various types of
fighter jets and early warning radar systems.
As we learned in the previous article fighters from the 35th Fighter-Interceptor Wing (35 FIW) were
stationed at Yokota for about three months prior to the Korean War, only to be rapidly replaced by
heavy bombers for the duration of that conflict.
For a little over a year following the Korean War armistice Yokota remained almost exclusively a B-
29 base. However, in August 1954 the mission changed radically with the return of the 35 FIW and
three fighter squadrons.
Now flying North American F-86D "Sabres," [Jim Donegan] these squadrons were part of a larger
defense network with operations out of Air Force bases from Hokkaido in the north to Kyushu in the
west. 35 FIW remained at Yokota until 1 October 1957 when it was inactivated.
The air defense mission was scaled back but continued under the 40th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron
"Red Devils" that upgraded to F-102 Delta Daggers in 1960, and the unit was a mainstay at Yokota
until 1965 when that mission was fully handed off to JASDF.
Perhaps symbolic of Yokota and the F-102's place in the Cold War, Japanese filmmakers from Toho
Movie Corporation came to the base in April 1961 and filmed the jets for the monster movie Mothra.
The final cut the movie only showed footage of JASDF F-86s, but it is important to note that the F-
102s were originally going to play a large effort in the battle against Mothra as it devastated Tokyo.

Air defense was just one piece of the Cold War puzzle at Yokota. Along with the fighters in 1954
came the 6007th Composite Reconnaissance Group which flew RB-57A Canberras into Soviet and
Chinese airspace on highly sensitive photographic missions.
This kind of important work continued at Yokota well into the 1960s under the 67th Tactical Recon
Wing and other organizations, the story of which can found in the excellent history Asia from Above.
Perhaps most significantly, the Strategic Air Command or SAC -- America's dominant symbol of the
Cold War -- made its appearance at the base in the mid-1950s when it established Detachment 1 of the
3rd Air Division to handle B-50, B-36, B-47, and B-52 bomber deployments to Yokota.

Days before Holt died Voice Over the off screen TV interviewer of Holt gave this interview
VO: Chauncey Holt continued his association with the CIA during the 1960's and 1970's. He played a role in
covert operations in Brazil, Laos and Chile. At the same time Holt maintained his close friendship and
business interests with mafia boss Peter Licavoli until the mobster’s death in 1984. Holt also continued to be
deeply involved through the years with attorney Frank Belcher with whom he maintained a joint banking
account at the Bank of America in Burbank, CA. Many of Holt’s CIA contract agent “projects” were funded
and funneled through this special account.
In 1975 the CIA began to purge rogue contract agents, aka “cowboys” from its employ. Some were forced
into retirement, while others like Chauncey Holt ended up in prison. On January 2, 1976, Holt had written a
letter to his old CIA ally William King Harvey apprising him of his recent indictment by a federal grand jury.
Harvey responded by saying he could only offer “token assistance.” Harvey did offer to send Chauncey some
CIA documents that were about to be declassified. These records proved that Holt worked for the Clandestine
Operations of the Central Intelligence Agency.
As recounted elsewhere, Operation Mongoose was revived and a number of contract agents, as well as the
Cubans and gangsters like Gaincana, Licavoli, Roselli, Traficante and Rothman, who answered to Lansky,
were involved in these attempts on Castro, many of which were not only ludicrous but bordered on lunacy.
On December 14, 1961, I [Chauncey Holt one of the trainyard hobos working for William King Harvey
known as Mr H) attended a meeting at Bermuda Dunes Airport, a proprietary interest of the CIA, operated by
Ray Ryan and an old time pilot by the name of Ernie Dunlevie. This was the only meeting I attended where
most of the principals involved in the plot to assassinate Fidel Castro were present. Those present included
William King Harvey, Peter Licavoli, Sam Gaincana, Johnny Roselli, Ray Ryan and Frank Hayden. Ernie
Dunlevie was not present. I acted as the secretary and I still have the handwritten notes of that meeting.

It was decided that the ZR/RIFLE program would be applied to Cuba. There would be maximum security
and non- attributability in regard to this project. The term "Kubark" and "Kutube/D Search" were assigned to
the plan. We were advised not to us "AM" but rather "Mongoose" when referring to this project. Operations

Now it comes to explaining 1952, the Berlin Wall, the Cold War, the H Bomb, and many other activities. As
the face-off with the surviving Super Powers of WWII took place along the East and West Germany in

After the failed Bay of Pigs invasion Holt worked for Meyer Lansky in California. Meyer took over
the Los Angeles Stamp and Stationary Company where Holt continued to produce illegal documents
and false police badges. He also worked closely with Phillip A. Twombly, a former Executive Vice
President of Coca Cola for their Caribbean operations. Twombly now owned a bank in Fullerton,
California, which was used to distribute CIA funds for covert operations.
Chauncey Holt was born in Kentucky on 23rd October, 1921. When he was 19 he joined the United
States Army Airforce (USAAF). The following year he was court-martialed and sent to the U.S.
penitentiary barracks at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, for attacking another soldier with a Springfield rifle.
Holt was released in June 1940 but deserted from the USAF after the attack on Pearl Harbor. He
eventually returned to duty but in 1942 he traveled in a car from Fort Knox to Louisville. He was
arrested and charged with taking the car without permission and was sentenced to 18 months in the
Industrial Reformatory at Chillicott, Ohio. On his release he found work with the Bethelem-Fairfield
Shipyard Company.
After the war Holt met Peter Licavoli, a leading figure in the Mafia in Detroit. Holt was sent to Florida
where he worked for Meyer Lansky as an accountant and pilot. This included several trips to Cuba
where Lansky had extensive business interests. Lansky also sent Holt to worked for the International
Rescue Committee (IRC). This was a Central Intelligence Agency controlled organization that had been
set up to distribute funds to organizations attempting to overthrow left-wing governments. During the
time Holt was also involved in producing forged documents for the CIA and the Mafia.
Holt also became involved in what later become known as Executive Action (a plan to remove
unfriendly foreign leaders from power). This including a coup d'état that overthrew the Guatemalan
government of Jacobo Arbenz in 1954 after he introduced land reforms and nationalized the United
Fruit Company. However, the main target of this operation was Fidel Castro who had established a
socialist government in Cuba.

Dulles Brothers VP Nixon Executive Action team were at the EARLIER (not Latin American) Soviet
and Chinese expansion sites, the Iron Curtain draping over US allies, 1950's.

Holt later claimed he was went to Dallas in November, 1963, with Charlie Nicoletti, James Canty and
Leo Moceri. In Dallas he passed on forged documents and guns (with silencers) to Charles Harrelson
and Charles Rogers (Richard Montoya). Holt was told that "an incident was going to be created which
could be laid at the door of pro-Castro Cubans. The word attempted assassination was never used. We
assumed that from all this light loaded ammunition that maybe somebody was going to try to take a
shot from somewhere, probably the Dal-Tex building, or one of the buildings around there. But at no
time was it ever intimidated to us that an assassination or attempted assassination on Kennedy."
When the Kennedy motorcade reached the Dealey Plaza Holt was in the parking lot behind the Grassy
Knoll. After the shooting took place Holt went to hide in a railroad car. He was joined by Charles
Harrelson and Charles Rogers. However, soon afterwards, Dallas police officers entered the railroad car
and arrested all three men. The three men along with Jim Brading were interviewed by Gordon
Shanklin of the FBI and then released.

California and other locations to funnel funding to Murder Inc., and Casino and other mafia who can ALSO
fly cargo planes into civil wars in other nations to tilt the battle TOWARDS the USA England desired
outcomes.
Sometimes countries are destabilized perhaps by assassination leading to civil wars in a "strategy of tension"
eliminating peace activists and putting in warring factions from EITHER SIDE such that when the war does
break out the Western allegiance side will have overkill capabilities against Communist factions, that
provided secretly by pilots like Chauncey Holt into countries while discussed as non US CIA flights.
In 1951 the Casinos and Gambling operation of Meyers Lanksy on Grace Ranch Tuscon Arizona became a
CIA training and airplane modification facility funded through the CIA to Borb Reynolds then to George
Reynolds then to Twombly then the Frank Belcher and then to Meyers Lansky and Chauncey Holt, the
Lansky accountant (who kept all the records and are in the appendix of his book).
The USE of the money was this. The Fair Play For Cuba and Commie Party cards and fake badges and fake
documents for CIA operations where used by Chauncey Marvin Holt under supervision from William King
Harvey to create "Legends" (cover identities) the teams would operate under, such a team driving later from
Tuscon to the Trainyard.

It is the Mob operating from the CIA PsyOps system under heavy control of General Edward Lansdale and
General CD Douglas, both of whom Col FLether Prouty hates and blames and cites as the assassins identified
in photos, Lansdale seen in the pictures the Hobos he does not name by name but as assassins, and CD
Jackson media friends, I think in one place he does mention CD JACkSON OSS CIA as part of the plan, in
other cases Prouty just mentions others in the press by name who are part of the cover-up and CIA friendly
propaganda.
One of the British interests in this was out of wedlock bastard Windsor children allowed them to study their
speech defect non-publicly and while doing so plant sleeper agents drawn from orphanages they were planted
in for use around the world with their hidden identities explained to them in surrogate parents.
Some of these were drawn from Glorian Donegan DNA since she was one of these "bastard children." The
trackablity of DNA now is a huge issue and cover-ups are being conducted of the why of the assasion of JFK
who was against this though his father was a part of this.
Some of the later discovered roles (HSCA testimony based on findings from investigator Penn Jones Jr. was
that Oswald was trying to buy cars very anonymously (at least one) by cash no names involved. ONe place he
visited the sales person seems to have been assassinated (Penn Jones finding.) Holt will say in his book the
Oldsmobile station wagon some of the CIA group traveld to the train yard to at Dealy Plaza was bought in a
way it was untraceable. Lee Bowers in the two story trainyard booth did see the cars but he was assassinated
as he talked to documentarian author producer Mark Lane, but records of Lee Bowers statements remain.
Lee Harvey Oswald tried to call North Carolian army intelligence and I think explain the Donegan and
Astugi piece of this but the phone call was blocked and he was assassinated before being transferred from
Earl Cabell's (Mayor of Dallas and brother of CHarles Cabell fired by JFK police jail into the County Jail.
Per Chauncey Holt they had a "clean" automobile that would not be traced back to them, an Oldsmobile
station wagon. IT seems as part of that team Oswald was trying to buy cars, cash, that would not be traced
back to him, he was trying not to use his name.

In 1963 Holt received instructions from Twombly to provide false ID documents for Lee Harvey Oswald.
These documents (in the names of Lee Harvey Oswald and Alek Hiddell) were delivered by a man called
George Reynolds. In August, 1963, Twombly asked Holt to travel to New Orleans, where he met Oswald and
Carlos Bringuier. A. (to a question) I called an agent by the name of Whitlock and told him the station wagon
was in the Dealey Plaza parking lot and that there was a hide-a-key under the hood. I instructed him to pick

Q. Who was Frank Belcher, Sr.? A. Frank Belcher, Sr. was one of the most powerful lawyers in California.
He was, at one time, president of the California bar. He was related to J. A. Belcher, another of the CIA’s
properties. I have already alluded to his wife, Ruth, and his relationship to George Reynolds. More
importantly, he was the de facto partner of Joe Ball, another powerful lawyer. Belcher and Ball very often
represented co-defendants in trials.
Since they were not actually partners they were able to avoid charges of conflict of interest. Belcher and
Ball, along with John Wayne and Fred MacMurray owned a palatial house in Acapulco, which was used as a
safe house for contract agents, card carrying agents and organized crime figures, such as Stacher, Lansky,
Licavoli, Roselli, Giancana and others. Belcher was also a CIA asset. He and I maintained a joint back
account at the Bank of America which served as a conduit for funds from many sources, legal and illegal.
"In August of 1963, acting on instructions of George Reynolds, who operated the Atchafalaya Labor Camp
in Morgan City, Louisiana, Bud Belcher and I flew to New Orleans. Bud was the son of Frank Belcher, owner
of Belcher Aircraft, a CIA proprietary interest. Bud and I were to give Lee Harvey Oswald material to
distribute in his role with "Fair Play for Cuba." The pamphlets we printed at LASSCO were passed to Guy
Bannister, but there was a well- publicized arrest of Oswald at this time and, to the best of my knowledge, the

It was that secret airbase at Grace Ranch serviced by Ernie Dunlevie, Ray Rayn, and the Vegas Mob (sans
Bugsy Segal who Holt helped hit when Segal was caught skimming by an unnamed accountant) that Holt and
the CIA team worked out of with Robert Mahue and Howard Hughes building advanced aircraft to spec
inside WWII surplus planes to be piloted by CIA contractor and USAF Pilots hiding as Latin American air
force personnel. That according to C-Span book notes on Richard Bissle Jr. and Allen Dulles.
In the appendix of Chauncey Marvin Holt's book of his work as a Hobo and with the CIA overthrow team of
Guatamala in 1954 with Leroy Young, Jack Youngblood, and others Holt goes into meetings he had in Palm
Springs with Sam Gold (Giacanca) William King Harvey, and the Grace Ranch group running the secret CIA
airbase the squad of assassins drove the station wagon from to Dallas and William King Harvey doing much
of the organizing.
In 1975 the CIA began to purge rogue contract agents, aka “cowboys” from its employ. Some were
forced into retirement, while others like Chauncey Holt ended up in prison. On January 2, 1976, Holt
had written a letter to his old CIA ally William King Harvey apprising him of his recent indictment by a
federal grand jury. Harvey responded by saying he could only offer “token assistance.” Harvey did offer
to send Chauncey some CIA documents that were about to be declassified. These records proved that
Holt worked for the Clandestine Operations of the Central Intelligence Agency.

than voluntary silence and payoffs. Risks like Dorothy needed to be eliminated completely lest they be
subpoenaed, change their minds, etc,.
Chauncey Marvin Holt and others were the "Cowboys" of Grace Ranch in Tuscon, Arizona? Yes. In 1951
the gambling operation sold off the race horses used in Las Vegas and moved in the bone-yard surplus WW 2
planes the Pentagon was making available to them to use as post-war military surplus.
Holt and others will show up in ranch hand clothes but in fact Holt was a Hobo and circus performer as a
child later earned a degree in art from a religious based university admission. Upon being discharged from
Army Air Force training in WW 2 he after WW 2 was used by the CIA as a Pilot Engineer. As an engineer he
worked with weapons and aircraft designers to refit the planes and test and paint them for use in Guatemala
and elsewhere and flew them as well. Not horses but planes instead but the overalls may look just they same
even when he posed as a Hobo driving from Grace Ranch to Dealey Plaza Texasa to be part of the JF
assassination planned by William King Harvey, Sam Giancana, and others.
You can't find away to a avoid the troubling matter of Lee Bowers Jr. He was in what amounts to the Air
Traffic Control Tower of an airport, but here for controlling ground traffic in a two story 4 window all
structure who observed the Oldsmobile Station wagon the Holt say they (the assassins) bought and drove
from the CIA weapons center at Grace Ranch (were silencers were built, custom jobs from a firearms
company in Goleta California did work for them, they were machinists at Grace Ranch Tuscon Arizona too

Red Devil in Cold War Japan
The 40th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron "Red Devils"
The U.S. military maintained a significant presence in Japan throughout the Cold War, and one of its
units was known as the "Red Devils".
Stationed at Yokota Air Base: The 40th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron, which used the
nickname, was stationed at Yokota Air Base near Tokyo until 1965.
Air defense role: The squadron played a direct role in Japan's air defense against potential Soviet
and Chinese aerial threats.
F-102 Delta Daggers: In the early 1960s, the "Red Devils" upgraded to F-102 Delta Daggers and
were even featured in the 1961 monster movie Mothra, which filmed at Yokota Air Base.
Handover of duties: The unit's air defense mission was ultimately transferred to the Japan Air
Self-Defense Force (JASDF).

It seems odd that both the race horses and pursuit planes (Pursuit P-40, P-51 etc.,) and later designated
Fighers F-86 both of which my father flew were the Red Devils and race horses. In one case even a pickup
truck.

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- The Cold War is an amorphous event that historians date variously as
having started at the end of WWII, from the president's [President Truman's] articulation of the policy
of "containment" in 1947, during the Berlin Airlift in 1948-49, or myriad other turning points in that
epic struggle between the United States and the Soviet Union.
The Korean War should probably be lumped into the Cold War as well, though when examining
Yokota's history it is worth analyzing Korea as a distinct event. At the other end of the spectrum the
Cold War concluded in 1991 with the opening of the Berlin Wall, but at Yokota the Vietnam War was
so dominant that it marked an end, or at least a pause in typical Cold War activities.
Therefore, this article shall periodize Yokota's Cold War era as the thirteen years between 1952 (about
half-way through the Korean War) through 1964 when the Vietnam War was ramping up.
The variety of missions and aircraft that called the base home during this timeframe is almost
overwhelming, and for those stationed at Yokota during the 1950s and into the mid-1960s the ever-
looming threat of a conventional or nuclear attack was very real.
After all, Russia -- at that time the Soviet Union -- is Japan's closest neighbor, and combined with the
establishment of communist China in 1949 and the aggression of North Korean toward South Korea in
1950 showed that Japan was surrounded by hostile states.
As a result during the 1950s and into the early 1960s, before the Japan Air Self Defense Force
(JASDF) was fully operational, the US Air Force provided for Japan's air defense with various types of
fighter jets and early warning radar systems.
As we learned in the previous article fighters from the 35th Fighter-Interceptor Wing (35 FIW) were
stationed at Yokota for about three months prior to the Korean War, only to be rapidly replaced by
heavy bombers for the duration of that conflict.
For a little over a year following the Korean War armistice Yokota remained almost exclusively a B-
29 base. However, in August 1954 the mission changed radically with the return of the 35 FIW and
three fighter squadrons.
Now flying North American F-86D "Sabres," [Jim Donegan] these squadrons were part of a larger
defense network with operations out of Air Force bases from Hokkaido in the north to Kyushu in the
west. 35 FIW remained at Yokota until 1 October 1957 when it was inactivated.
The air defense mission was scaled back but continued under the 40th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron
"Red Devils" that upgraded to F-102 Delta Daggers in 1960, and the unit was a mainstay at Yokota
until 1965 when that mission was fully handed off to JASDF.
Perhaps symbolic of Yokota and the F-102's place in the Cold War, Japanese filmmakers from Toho
Movie Corporation came to the base in April 1961 and filmed the jets for the monster movie Mothra.
The final cut the movie only showed footage of JASDF F-86s, but it is important to note that the F-
102s were originally going to play a large effort in the battle against Mothra as it devastated Tokyo.

Air defense was just one piece of the Cold War puzzle at Yokota. Along with the fighters in 1954
came the 6007th Composite Reconnaissance Group which flew RB-57A Canberras into Soviet and
Chinese airspace on highly sensitive photographic missions.
This kind of important work continued at Yokota well into the 1960s under the 67th Tactical Recon
Wing and other organizations, the story of which can found in the excellent history Asia from Above.
Perhaps most significantly, the Strategic Air Command or SAC -- America's dominant symbol of the
Cold War -- made its appearance at the base in the mid-1950s when it established Detachment 1 of the
3rd Air Division to handle B-50, B-36, B-47, and B-52 bomber deployments to Yokota.

🛩 The 509th Bomb Group: Atomic Origins
Formed in 1944, the 509th Composite Group was a specially trained unit of the U.S. Army Air Forces
tasked with delivering atomic weapons.
It operated Silverplate B-29 Superfortresses, modified to carry nuclear bombs.
Under Col. Paul Tibbets, the group executed the atomic bombings of Hiroshima (Aug 6, 1945) and
Nagasaki (Aug 9, 1945)-the only combat use of nuclear weapons in history.
Postwar Transition: From Tinian to RoswellAfter WWII, the 509th returned stateside and was stationed at Roswell Army Air Field (RAAF), New
Mexico, starting in November 1945.
It became part of the newly formed Strategic Air Command (SAC), serving as the nucleus of
America’s atomic strike force during the early Cold War.
Roswell Incident: The UFO ConnectionIn July 1947, Roswell became the epicenter of UFO speculation when debris was recovered from a
nearby ranch.
The 509th Bomb Group was the unit that issued the original press release claiming they had
recovered a “flying disc”-a statement that was quickly retracted and replaced with the explanation of a
weather balloon.
The fact that the 509th was the only unit in the world equipped with atomic bombs at the time
added fuel to conspiracy theories.

Days before Holt died Voice Over the off screen TV interviewer of Holt gave this interview
VO: Chauncey Holt continued his association with the CIA during the 1960's and 1970's. He played a role in
covert operations in Brazil, Laos and Chile. At the same time Holt maintained his close friendship and
business interests with mafia boss Peter Licavoli until the mobster’s death in 1984. Holt also continued to be
deeply involved through the years with attorney Frank Belcher with whom he maintained a joint banking
account at the Bank of America in Burbank, CA. Many of Holt’s CIA contract agent “projects” were funded
and funneled through this special account.
In 1975 the CIA began to purge rogue contract agents, aka “cowboys” from its employ. Some were forced
into retirement, while others like Chauncey Holt ended up in prison. On January 2, 1976, Holt had written a
letter to his old CIA ally William King Harvey apprising him of his recent indictment by a federal grand jury.
Harvey responded by saying he could only offer “token assistance.” Harvey did offer to send Chauncey some
CIA documents that were about to be declassified. These records proved that Holt worked for the Clandestine
Operations of the Central Intelligence Agency.
As recounted elsewhere, Operation Mongoose was revived and a number of contract agents, as well as the
Cubans and gangsters like Gaincana, Licavoli, Roselli, Traficante and Rothman, who answered to Lansky,
were involved in these attempts on Castro, many of which were not only ludicrous but bordered on lunacy.
On December 14, 1961, I [Chauncey Holt one of the trainyard hobos working for William King Harvey
known as Mr H) attended a meeting at Bermuda Dunes Airport, a proprietary interest of the CIA, operated by
Ray Ryan and an old time pilot by the name of Ernie Dunlevie. This was the only meeting I attended where
most of the principals involved in the plot to assassinate Fidel Castro were present. Those present included
William King Harvey, Peter Licavoli, Sam Gaincana, Johnny Roselli, Ray Ryan and Frank Hayden. Ernie
Dunlevie was not present. I acted as the secretary and I still have the handwritten notes of that meeting.

It was decided that the ZR/RIFLE program would be applied to Cuba. There would be maximum security
and non- attributability in regard to this project. The term "Kubark" and "Kutube/D Search" were assigned to
the plan. We were advised not to us "AM" but rather "Mongoose" when referring to this project. Operations
would be implemented through word of mouth, person to person, singleton ops and nothing on paper. We
were assured that phony 201 files would be inserted in the central registry and backdated. I was assigned Q J/
lose and was instructed to prepare the necessary forged documents. All this would be implemented through
Special Group (augmented), coded Task 33.

will kill Marilyn Monroe. Monroe was going to reveal the ongoing CIA overthrows operation and thus she
was silenced. A member of the Greek Community in Chicago learned of the operation from their own mouths
and also was silenced. Johnny Roselli is a very central figured named by others and in declassified CIA and
FBI documents in the national archives.
