Re: Roger Craig
Jerry that is a great movie.I feel sure that it is fairly accurate.Kevin Costner does a superb job as Kenney O'Donnell, Bruce Greenwood as JFK is awesomeGood Movie. I was in Florida the night JFK made his televised speech. There were troop convoys everwhere i had been there a few days and didn't really understand what was going onbut when I heard him on TV I headed north early the next morning. If I hadn't spent $7 for the motel I may have left right then.

Jerry Craig wrote:im watching a movie called thirteen days with kevin costner joeAs I said in another post, Bruce Greenwood was outstanding as JFK, as was Steven Culp as RFK and Dylan Baker as Robert McNamara. Obviously, if Kevin Costner is in the movie, then his role (Kenny O'Donnell) may have been trumped up a bit. However, O'Donnell did go to Harvard with Bobby and also played football there. O'Donnell was a special assistant to JFK, and his office was right outside the oval office. JFK never had a Chief of Staff, and O'Donnell sort of played that role. So the movie may have taken the cinematic liberty to enhance the role O'Donnell played (because of Costner), but the recording of the history that happened during those thirteen days was very accurate.
